Clifton Observatory, Camera Obscura and Cave sits high up on The Downs and offers superb views from above the Clifton Suspension Bridge. It is in fact one of only two camera obscuras still open to the public in England. Clifton Observatory, Camera Oscura and Cave was originally a snuff mill built by James Waters, but it was partially destroyed during a strong gale in 1777. The mill was rented to William West in 1828, who used the building as his art studio and installed the camera obscura.

Bristol Hippodrome
Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's phenomenal musical The Phantom of the Opera will be unveiled at the Theatre Royal Plymouth in March 2012 ahead of a national tour.
The Phantom Of The Opera has won over 60 major theatre awards, including seven Tonys on Broadway and three Olivier Awards in the West End.
Far beneath the majesty and splendour of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protégée Christine Daaé is so strong that even her heart cannot resist.
